Hunting beach Tourny

Taylor and I had a short road trip over to Huntington beach for her first softball tournament with the "Hot Shots".   We followed another car over and back with 2 other players.   We had a great trip singing and chatting all the way over on Friday late afternoon.  We checked into our hotel in time to go to the bar/restaurant and watch ASU beat Florida and have a late night snack.

Saturday we slept in and had some breakfast and then went to the beach for some sun and shopping.   We went with friends of the team and had a great day.  We had late games 6:15 and 8:00 that night and they went 1 win and 1 lose.    We were starving when the games were over so we headed to In-N-Out for Taylors favorite burgers.    It was 11:30 before we got into bed and then up again by 6:30 to head back out to the fields again.     The team played pretty good for their first tournament together as a team.  

We got on the road to head back home by 6:30.  It was a long drive home since we were up early and to bed late the night before.  We were tired but we kept each other awake by singing and talking about things we need to do this week before we leave for Australia.    We arrived home around 11:30 and Tad and Tatum were up waiting for us.
