Thursday morning we woke up to rain... we were a bit sad but it was sunny by 11:00 and we headed to Newport beach. It was a perfect day. The water is always cold until your completely wet and your body gets use to it. We boogie boarded and body surfed all day. Tori built her usual sand castle but got board as she loves to boogie board now. In the past she sat in the sand all day because she really didn't like the waves but now she was with us the entire time.
Friday we gave our skin a bit of a break and went to Hollywood and Santa Monica for some shopping and dinner. We had a very enjoyable day checking out the sites and enjoying the beautiful California weather.
Saturday back to the beach, Huntington this time. The wind was blowing a bit and the waves were huge. It was hard to boogie board and body surf, we thought the waves were going to take us under and we couldn't get back up. It was exhausting and scary at the same time. After a day of fun and sun we got cleaned up and headed over to Down Town Disney for some dinner. What a great ending to much needed family time!!!
