Poor Harli

I noticed a couple of days ago that Harlis ear was swollen. I called the vet and got her in today. She has a broken blood vessel and the blood drained and filled in the bottom of her ear.... they took her back and had to sadate her and put a small slice in her ear and attach a drain.... she has to wear one of those cone collars. She has been out of it all day... she looks at me all dazed and when she moves around the cone hits the wall and she just stands there not knowing what to do.... Poor puppy!!!!
She is out of it... and I had to lift her to get in the truck... ugghh

Tracy was in town

Tads sister Tracy got into town Saturday night. She had some time off and wanted to visit us and enjoy some Great weather. She enjoyed herself and got to see each of the girls in their sports. Tad took her around town to her old stomping ground when she lived her many many years ago. We had a nice visit with you Tracy, come back again soon... but don't wait another 8 years this time LOL :))

Budman Award

On Friday Tad had a company business meeting and I got to attend with him because he was being honored for his 20 year service. There were 6 recipients this year that received this honor. I of course forgot my camera but here is a picture of his 20 year Budman award.

Promotion pictures

Taylor had to take her dress today to school for her promotion pictures to be taken. They took a group picture of the 8th grade and then individuals. I took a few before hand.

Taking the wall down.... sort of

When we got out pool put in last year the City wouldn't pass inspection until the gate between our house and the Bauers was fenced in. We have had the gate there for 7 years and use to going through the yards to go back and forth. Last summer and currently we had to go all the way around front to get back and forth... the kids kept asking when the gate would be back in.... Well the girls were all in the back yard swimming and doing the slip n slide when Bauer girls came over and they all went over to their house... I went over to get some pictures of them to find Craig pulling the blocks out. He didn't have time to knock the entire wall down but until Tad and Craig can get it down and the gate put in the girls can at least climb over.

Another Softball Post....

Okay we were out at softball all day again but this time the weather was GREAT!!! Taylor played 3 games and then lost to a really good team... but I think they could of beat them if he would of started Taylor pitching. She had pitched the other 3 games and wanted to rest her which I get.. but they were hitting off the other pitcher and these girls knew where to place the ball for base hits. The coach finally put Taylor in and pitched great but it was too late.
I missed that last game of Taylors.... I had to run over to Toris game at the AGS Fields...They were tied with 5 minutes left in the game... Tori strikes out the first 2 batters but then Toris friend Jillian gets up and hits a homerun and the other team won. It was a good game and Tori pitched GREAT!!!
I took my camera but it never left my purse... I wanted to get some pictures of Tori pitching... next week I will. They have games all week I think 9 between the 2 of them. Thank goodness the weather has warmed up and I won't freeze by butt off like I did last week.

Happy Easter

We had the family over for Easter and couldn't of asked for a nicer day... the weather cooperated with our plans and we had a Great Day!!! We had lots of yummy food... we had a washer tournament (Terry and Tyler won), we played 2 rounds of LRC (Taylor and Tatum won) and then the adults played a game of Michigan Rummy (my Dad won). Tatum, Tori, Tyler and Amber decided the pool was not cold and decided to swim... it was 70 degrees... it was freezing and as each one jumped in the expression on their faces were all the same... they tried to look like it wasn't cold but their faces read differently.

Family Picnic

Today we had our annual Family picnic. I was really worried that it would be windy since the past 3 weeks the wind has blown so much.... but it turned out to be a beautiful day. We played lots of volleyball, kickball and some whiffle ball... adults and kids played. There was lots of food and lots of laughter....We had a great time seeing family that we only see once a year.

We counted about 88 people.... I apprently have two 4th cousins now... funny thing about some of these kids if they walked by I would never know we were related... LOL

First Cousins

The past 3 weeks.....

Wow its been awhile since I have posted anything. The girls had a week off March 14-21 and we didn't do much.... Tatum had a meet the beginning weekend and end of spring break... Her team got 2nd all around the first meet, March 14th and then 1st all around March 21st. Tatum did well in both meets... 2nd and 4th on beam. Tori had a couple softball games over springbreak too...opening day she won and did outstanding at 3rd base. She had 3 hard grounders in a row hit to her first inning and threw all 3 girls out. She is becoming quite the softball player... her hitting is getting better and better. This is her last year in minis and so she is finally one of the big girls and it shows in how she has improved over the past 3 years. Taylor was sick with a 103 fever Sunday thru Wednesday of spring break... she was not very happy. She had a game on Thursday and I didn't let her play or go to a sleep over she was invited to. She still had a low grade fever but according to her "she was not sick"... yea right. I felt bad for her.... Friday she was feeling better so I took all three girls to breakfast at the Good Egg, pedicures, and then some shopping. It was a great end to Spring break. Tad was home 3 days of spring break and he had some little home projects to do around the house. My dad was over and they put down some pavers in the front patio. He also scalped the year...cleaned out the garage... took the trailer back... washed the ranger...some things that were way over due.

March 28th Taylor had a tournament for her club team... they hadn't played in over a month.... they did ok Saturday for pool play but lost their first game on Sunday. After her game we came home and barbequed and just layed around and watch a movie.

This week was very busy.... I worked all week at Coyote Camp...we have lots of kids the next few weeks. Some days I wouldn't even get out of the truck when I got home.. the girls would be waiting out in the driveway all ready to be dropped off for a game or practice. All the girls had their sports all the same nights this week....Tad was very busy at work so I was running in all different directions. Dropping off watching a softball game here back to pick up Tatum from gym and then back to another softball game. My sister and parents helped me out a couple times so I wouldn't have to go back and forth 50 times... LOL ...ugghhh :{
I am hoping for a calmer week but that won't happen until school is out... but that will be here before we know it... 7 weeks and summer vacation starts yippee!!! :}
