A Sad Day :(

Hope everyone is having a Happy Thanksgiving and your all enjoying family and friends! We have had a bit of sad news... Tad's dad passed away this morning... Tad flew into Iowa and is there with his mom, sister, brother and niece. Please pray for his family and give them the strength to get through this sad time. They were meeting with the funeral home today to make all the arrangements. The girls and I will probably fly out Sunday or Monday. I will post info when I get it.
Remember this is a time to be Thankful... so be thankful for what you have, and who is in your life.... Hug your family, your kids, your parents, grandparents and tell them you love them and are so thankful they are around.

The wait is over.....

The girls and I, my sister and her girls, a couple of friends and their girls all went to see Twilight this afternoon. :) After reading all four books in the series and anticipating the day Twilight came out in the theatres... its here and over. It was a good movie... it was slow in parts but it did do the book justice :) Now I guess we'll have to wait now for New Moon which they started filming (so I heard) :)

Student of the Month

Each month Frontier (the girls school) has an assembly to celebrate the Student of the month for each grade.... well Tatum got Student of the Month for October. Way to go Tatum, we're very proud of you!!!

She's a pack rat....

I decided to do some Fall cleaning and I started in Tori's room.... boy she is such a pack rat. I moved her bed and of course under it was babies, stuffed animals, doll clothes etc... in her night stand drawer was candy, gum, a bowl of fish under the night stand (guess this was her midnight snack) LOL :) I managed to get all this cleaned, dusted and vaccuumed... so now I venture to the closet... Oh my... in every purse, backpack and bag was crammed with some sort of junk... lots and lots of papers everywhere in her closet. You couldn't even see the bottom of her closet it was so crammed with junk. Doll clothes throw everywhere, one shoe here and the other buried at the other end, no wonder she always wears the same old shoes every day. Needless to say you can see the floor and there isn't any junk left.... Its great to clean when they are at school... they have NO clue what you recycle :)
Hmmmm... who is next... Taylor???? Tatum???? you better hide your junk!!!

Its not that early!!!!

Okay well maybe I jump the gun a little bit.... but its only 38 days away... and the amount of things we put out....and Tad will be gone next weekend and he needed to get it all out of the shed....its not that early....did I already say that??? Yes we started putting out our Christmas stuff today. Just the tree in the family room and the stockings thats it... the rest is piled in the garage for easy access so we can get to it when we have another free moment...hhhmmm that wont be until next weekend... maybe....

Happy Birthday Dad / Papa

Today we went and spent the day with my Dad for his birthday. There wasn't any school because its Veterans Day and since his birthday is tomorrow it was the perfect day to get all the kids together and hang out at grandma and papas :) After we ate pizza the kids all went and played at the park and my mom dragged out old photos from when I was a kid... my sister and I laughed then when the kids came back from the park they had a good laugh at our hair, outfits etc back then..... boy has my hair changed over the years LOL :) And then looking at my own kids and how fast time has flown by... Gotta cherish every single moment that I spend with them...It was so great remembering the times when they were babies, toddlers, little girls being silly. Trips to the park, our old house, camping...It was a great day!! :)

Softball Weekend

Taylor played in a softball tournament all weekend and the more she plays the more fun these tournaments get....and of course the better the team gets. They could do no wrong this tournament... well they had a couple errors but WOW I couldn't count them on one hand... they did awesome!!! And the Batting was outstanding. We run ruled 2 teams and had 7 homeruns and 3 of them was Molly our shortstop... and she is one of the smallest on the team... small but mighty I tell her LOL :) Taylor batted better than ever and made several great plays at first. They WON the tournament and they qualified for the Utah tournament in July... WAY TO GO CHAOS!!! :)

Congratulations Taylor!! :)
Taylor tried out for the jr high softball team at school and once again made the team. I of course didn't have any doubts... I am a proud mom :) Way to go Tay!!

Another Meet

Tatum had another meet out in Chandler today... She placed 5th in floor and beam. We are very proud of you Tatum at how well you have done in your first meets. There team placed 1st overall. Great job girls :)
