Cornhole tournament

Today we held a cornhole tournament to raise money for Taylor and two of her teammates for their Austrailia trip. We held this at Wolfleys. Cornhole is a beanbag toss game that is played with a partner. it was a great turnout and we had lots of fun too.

3 Championships in a row!!!

Wow Tori Jo's team, Lil' Saints 12U team is such a great team. They are very well coached and the girls do such an amazing job. They have won the last 3 tournaments in a row and run ruled the last two teams in both championship games. Tori has become quite the softball player. She is a great athlete but has such an advantage with only being 12 and playing as well as she does... I give these coaches Kristy and Cory the credit. They know what they are doing and Tori just loves them and listens to exactly what they say. Tad or I could tell Tori something she might be doing wrong and we don't know what were talking about but if the coaches say it, well she listens and changes what she was doing wrong.. lol! SURPRISE!!!!

Tonight we had a surprise party for Taylors 16th birthday. We had asked Taylor if she wanted to have a party and she said no I just want family and family friends to come over for a barbeque and play washers. Well Sydney came to me a couple weeks ago and said lets have a surprise party for her. So it was time to plan. I got invites made and Sydney took them to school and invited all her friends and softball teammates. I was nervous all week not knowing what to plan for 15-18 year old girls. What was cool and wasn't. It all turned out great... if music is on girls just dance and do their own thing. So Music + Food = FUN.

Student of the Month

I really enjoy how Frontier recognizes the kids who get student of the month. It starts off with the teachers doing some kind of skit and this time they did 3 games from minute to win it... 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade teachers against each other. The kids all cheering on their grades teacher. Then they put each student that receives Student of the month up on the screen and that kid runs through a tunnel around the room and thru another tunnel of all the teachers. Its an exciting time for these kids.

Daddy Daugher Dinner Dance

Well this is Tatums last time to go to the dance with her daddy. She has gone for 9 years, kindergarden thru 8th grade. Wow its hard to believe Tad has gone to 10 of these dances. He has 2 more years so go with Tori Jo and he will be watching his daughters go off with boys to their dances very soon... sooner than he wants it to happen I am sure.
