We went to Disneyland :))

We love going to Disneyland and when school let out for Christmas break we headed for California to go to the Happiest Place on Earth!!! We arrived on Sunday afternoon and checked into our hotel and then went straight to Disneyland. I think everyone else had the same idea... I have never seen it so packed as we did the 3 days that we were here. We didn't let that spoil our fun, we went on all the rides and saw all the parades and of course the outstanding firework show and snow. It was a great way to start off our holiday vacation.

Each month Tori has a book report that is due on the book she reads... this month they did a play on different types of books and they had acting/speaking parts. To my surprise Tori had 4 different parts to read for. She had one of the most speaking parts and there were lots of parents there. I was very surprised she chose to have that many parts. She did great and I was very very proud.

Tatum made the Jr High softball team at school. She wasn't sure if she wanted to try out since she hasn't played in 2 years but she did and she is doing good. They played in a 3rd annual Sunrise tournament and they came in 3rd place.

Camping Thanksgiving Weekend

After our bellies were full of food and we had more dessert than we knew what to do with we left for the desert to do some camping. We had a great time, and weather that couldn't of been any better. We went on a long ranger ride on Friday morning, the only draw back on this ride was since Arizona doesn't get much rain it was very dry and we ate lots and lots of dirt. That didn't stop our ride we enjoyed the scenery and the nice long ride. The rest of the trip the kids did their non-stop ranger riding and lots of game playing and a washer tournament. We had our big bonfires at night and the roasting of marshmallows. It was a great camping weekend with family and great friends.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends. May everyone have lots of yummy food and lots of blessings on this thankful day!!!
Today we spent the day at my cousin Clay and Debbies house. There were about 60 people and so much food and lots of yummy desserts. The weather was awesome and everyone had a wonderful time.

Lil' Saints take second

Taylors club team played a great weekend of softball. They made it to the final championship game and a Alabama team beat them in a very close game. This team was a very well coached and a great bunch of athletes. Taylor loved listnening to the talk. Great playing by both teams!!!

Student of the Month

Tori was the November Student of the Month for her 5th grade class. The school does a assembly and they call the students name and they run through flags and then run through a teacher tunnel. Its really neat how they recognize the kids.
