Dropping off our Dogs

We are heading out of town and our wonderful friends took our 3 dogs for the week. We went and spent a few hours with them before we left. All 7 seven girls have so much fun together no matter what were doing or for how long.

Tatum and Tori go to Iowa

Tatum and Tori flew together to Iowa to spend the week with their Grandma. They had a great time!! They got to enjoy a day with their Uncle Bob at Adventure Land one day, and then Aunt Tracy took them to meet Shawn Johnson and go around Iowa State. The rest of the time they spent with Grandma going shopping, baking...

Storm in Colorado

Tad and I went with Taylor to Colorado for a showcase tournament. The team did great!!! Out of 200 teams they got 2nd place losing to the Firecrackers from California. Taylor did well and had many coaches looking at her. She has big decisions to make. Great job Storm!!!

Softball Banquet

What a great season for both Tatum and Taylor this year. The Freshmen team was undefeated and Varsity lost one game in the season and went to the State championship game and played a heck of a game. The lost in the 8th inning 9-11. Great season to all the SMHS girls!!!

Every year Mr. Collins divides up the boys and the girls softball teams and has a little game. Tori, Codi and Tyler all played in this. Tori was a little bummed she didn't get to be on her BFF and Cousins team, but in the end Toris team won so then she had bragging rights. haha

State Championship

What a great and exciting game. The Mustangs are down 4-9 in the bottom of the 7th and Taylor gets the inning started with a hard hit up the middle. The crowd is all standing, making all kinds of noise. The bases are loaded and Mel walks and now its 5-9. The crowd is going wild. Mack gets up and her count is 2 balls, 2 strikes and fouls one off. Crowd couldn't be more supportive yelling a screaming "Lets Go Mustangs"!!! Mack gets her pitch and its not is it gonna go over, but how far is that ball going over!!! WOW a grand slam!! New ball game... crowd and all the players are so excited.. they came back. Next batter strikes out and its the top of 8.

We lost in the 8th, 9 - 11 but boy they played their hearts out and didn't give up. They all should be very proud. What a great season over all 33 - 2.
