Tatum is 15

Happy 15th Birthday Tatum Shay.    I cannot believe another year has come and gone and you are now 15.   I remember the day we brought you home... such a beautiful blue eyed baby girl.   You have always been full of so much energy and I love that about you.   I love that you give it your all in all you do.    You are such a wonderful young lady and a great friend to all and a loving daughter.   We are so very proud of you and love you so much!!!

Lucy update

We have had Lucy for two weeks and the big dogs are tolerating her.  They still won't really play with her but they let her get on their beds and get a little closer to them.

Happy New Year!

This year Tatum was at camp with her friend Katie up in Prescott.  Tori was at her friend Allysas and Tad always has to work so Taylor and I went to the Hills house to celebrate and bring in the New Year!   They had a small gathering with some close friends.   We spent the majority of the time out back with a fire in their fireplace and playing major washer tournaments.    I got to have a few cocktails myself this year since Taylor could drive us home.. haha!!!  

Hope everyone had a wonderful night  and that you all have a Happy, Healthy 2012.

My baby is 13

Today Tori Jo turns 13.  Wow where has the time gone?    We cannot believe how much she has grown up  and in the blink of an eye.    Tori Jo you make us so proud.   You were this chubby little baby that sucked her thumb and twirled her hair with the other hand and was oh so cute.  Now your a beautiful teenager!   Although you like to try and push our buttons with your moody hormones kicking in... you are so loving and forgiving after the fact.    You are always giving it your all in everything you do and we are so proud of you.   Your a great little sister, great friend and a wonderful daughter.   We love you so much!!!

After Tori's birthday dinner we were invited by Barbara to go to Laser Quest to play.   There was about 23 of us (Barbaras friend and her grandkids too).   We have been there for birthday parties for the kids but have never done it ourselves.  We had so much fun!!!

Meet Lucy

Tatum has wanted a little puppy forever so here is Lucy.   She is so tiny, especially next to Shadow and Harli.    She is smaller then Shadows head.   The big dogs are not liking that we brought home a new friend but hopefully in time they will all be the best of friends.

First Jr. High softball game

Tori has been waiting to be on the Frontier 7th and 8th grade softball team since Taylor was 4 years ago.   She watched Taylor for two years and then Tatum for her two years.   Now its her turn and she is having so much fun.   I know she plays club softball and plays all the time but its something about being with her friends representing her school.     Tori normally plays second base or outfield but the team doesn't have a pitcher so the coach knew she pitched about 2 years ago for rec ball.   So he told her she is pitching.   She had 8 strike outs and only walked 2.   Frontier won 4 - 0, the team did a great job.  

Great job Wildcats.... heres to a great season.   Good luck this weekend!!!!

Double Dutch

Terry and Noelle came over to play some dominoes and the kids decide to do some double dutch jump rope.   In the middle of our game Terry and I had to go show the kids how its done.    I have some video of the excitement.. haha... but I don't know how to upload it.   I will work on that!!!   We had so much fun jumping in and hogging all the jump time.
