Firecracker champs again!!!

Taylors club team won the Firecracker tournament second year in a row... way to go ladies. It was really really hot out there but it didn't seem to bother the girls any. Tad took Tatum, Tori and Payton who is visiting from Iowa to the Diamondbacks game. We were all suppose to go but the team was in the championship game and the games were backed up so I stayed and cheered on the team. Tatum, Tori and Payton were glad they were leaving... they were there for the 10:00 am game and was complaining about the heat... they wouldn't of made it until 5:00 that evening. Taylor and I got home and went straight to the pool and jumped in....ahhhh refreshing!!!!

Sting Party

Chuck (Taylor's AGS coach) had a end of the year party at his house. They swam, played dodgeball and softball in the sheep yard and ate lots of yummy food. The girls all had a lot of fun and it was a great way to end the season.

Fathers Day ~

Happy Fathers Day to all the daddys out there!!! We had a great day of just hanging out,swimming, barbequeing and playing dominoes. Taylor was on her way home from Pinetop with her grandparents...Thank you Bauers for bringing her home :) Tad and Tori took on Tatum in I in a game of Chicken Foot (a dominoe game) We were up by one point and the last round Tad and Tori won :)) Never played with the score being so close in the last round. We love to play games and we are all so competitive!!!
When Taylor got home the kids swam next door with the Bauer girls for a while, we ate dinner and then the 5 of us played another marathon game but no teams this time... everyone man or girl for herself.
It was a great family day and Fathers day for Tad.

Today Tatum and Tori and I went to lunch at Sauce with friends and then went and saw Imagine That. It was a very cute move, and then went to Dippin Dots. I don't care for those very pricey little dots they call ice cream. I would rather have real ice cream. I told the girls this and they said "it is real ice cream".... well I don't think so and I will stick to the original stuff :)
Afterward Tatum went to gym and I headed off to a way over due trip to Costco. OMG I hate waiting so long to go..I needed everything and of course things I didn't need as well. I was there so long I picked up Tatum from gym on my way home.
Taylor will be home in 2 days :)

Switcherooooo

Today we headup back up to Payson to pick up Tatum and switch her with Taylor. Its Tays week to spend with Gma and Papa.
Tatum had a great time... she went and saw "Night at the Museum 2", went fishing, they bowled and played lots of cards and games. She even kicked butt at washers with a score of 23 in one throw... WOW!!! I am so glad she is home... I missed her sooooo much.
Taylor its your turn to spend the week with your grandparents and I know you will enjoy yourself too. I am so glad that you like to spend this time with them and they are memories you will always have with your gma and papa!!!!
I will miss you Taylor... see you on Sunday.

Prescott Tournament

Friday we headed up to Prescott for Taylors club team. It was great weather..a bit windy but very nice. Saturday the team did pretty good they lost one and won two games in the pool play. Sunday they played great the first game and then the second game there were several errors by a couple players... that needed to be pulled... they werent.. therefore we were losing 14 to 4... our girls did come back on their bats but lost 15 to 14. Some of us parents are getting fed up with players sitting on the bench that should be playing and weakers players playing and making errors and still playing. I shouldn't complain Taylor gets to play all the time but OMG..Oh well I am not the coach so what can I do. Anyway we had a great weekend!!!

Closing Ceremonies

Last night we headed up to the AGS fields for Closing ceremonies. This rec. softball season is over for a few months. Taylor and Tori received their trophys for the season.... Taylor got first and Tori got third. Taylor also received MVP for the major division, they have never given this award out before and she received it... Great job Taylor... Great job Tori... you both played great.... it was a super season!!!

Day at the lake

Today we went to the lake with the Lee girls. We took a lunch, tubes, sunscreen and some lawn chairs and just hung out for several hours soaking up the sun. We took Harli and Shadow and boy did we wear them out!!!!

Drive to Payson

Today the girls and I headed up to Payson to meet my parents. Tatum is spending the week with them in Pinetop so we meet half way. We ate lunch and then I hugged my baby and she was off for a week of fun with her grandparents.

Family Day

Today was a great family day. We started the morning off golfing with the girls. During the summer the 500 club has this golf program where the kids can golf free all summer and one adult golfs with them free. 12 and older can be dropped off and golf by themselves with other 12 and older kids. Its a great program and the girls seems to enjoy it. We couldn't of asked for better weather either. I wish I would of taken my camera to get the girls teeing off..... next time :)

After our golf outing we went and saw the movie UP. What a great movie.. it was sad, funny and very cute. We came home and barbequed and then the girls swam... the water is still too cold for me and the past few days its only been in the 90s and cool at night. Now its time to relax and veg in front of the tv.

We couldn't of asked for a better day.

AGS is over :)

Tori and Taylors AGS season of softball ended tonight. Tori ended up 3rd place in the season and 4th in the tournament. Her team was actually done on Thursday. They were tied and had to do international rules, they had never done this before putting the last batter out of the inning before on second base. They ended that inning in a tie as well and had to start another inning again with someone on second base. They lost by one, it was a great game and what a way to end the season.

Taylor went into tournament without any loses. They needed to beat this team and it would of been over but they decided not to show up and they couldn't do anything right. They had to play that team again to get first in the tournament. They go over in innings as well and ended up winning. There games were pretty much one sided all season winning by 5 or more and then they end the season with some excitement. It was a fun season for both Taylor and Tori. Now we are looking to putting Tori into Club ball like her sister.
