Dance Recital

Tonight was Tatums dance recital. She had 3 dances that her gym team had been practicing on since her meets ended the end of March. We were not allowed to video tape or take pictures during the recital so I just took a few at the end. She did a great job and of course I got all weepy when it was her turn each dance.... I am such a boob lately :o

At the end of the recital they gave awards out for the prior meet season... Here Tatum is receiving hers for Best Beam worker :)

Memorial Day

After a long truck ride home last night we all slept in. I did loads of laundry and then Karen and I went to the grocery store. Karen had a friend come over and join us for dinner. We barbequed steaks and just hung out. Earlier in the day the Hill boys and Olson girls came over and they all swam.

Happy Memorial Day everyone~

Hollywood

Today we went to Hollywood and walked the Walk of Fame and then saw all the hands and footprints of all the stars at the Chinese Theatre. There was all sorts of people walking up and down Hollywood Blvd as well as characters coming from all directions.

After a fun day in Hollywood, we picked up Karen at Uncle Kens and then headed home. We got in at 11:15 pm, we were all tired but glad we didn't have to fight traffic on Memorial Day.

Today we went to lunch and then drove to Santa Monica and walked the pier and then went to the shops.

The Reagan Library

Today we left for Simi Valley, California. Tads Aunt and Uncle live over there and Karen (Tads mom) wanted to visit them. As always the weather was great. Uncle Ken wanted to take us to the the Reagan Library. That was interesting and we got to go through Air Force One.
